When I turn on the extension on safari the app opens on my Mac and overtakes the screen. how annoying. no option to stop. #829

I am running the latest version
I made sure all content blockers are enabled in Safari settings
I checked the documentation and found no answer
I checked to make sure that this issue has not already been filed

- OS: latest
- Safari: latest

What filters do you have enabled?

No response

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

app does not open on login
open safari, click on icon to start running
the THING appears

Expected Behavior

the thing does NOT appear. or it is at least running only in bg

Actual Behavior

the THING appears
