You already offer vim, but nVim is an alternative written in Lua, it is nowadays preferred by the ricing community there are more diverse plugins systems. More performant.

From FAQ "For now, we encourage users to use flatpaks for the applications we do not yet carry in our repository."

Workaround: Currently available at FlatHub https://flathub.org/en ; would you be able to try to install this way, for now, and report errors?
