Please report any issues in separate tickets.

If you tested the game and had no issues, report here with the following info:

  • Platform
  • Game completed?
  • Tested extra stuff: pause, sound test etc.

Using cheats is totally fine while testing.

MegaSD in an Analogue Mega SG
Important: I had to set Mega SG card speed to "normal" as "fast" and "fastest" speeds seemed to increase the risk of audio stuttering at the beginning of sound files.

  • Game not completed
  • Tested for two 30 minute sessions
  • Tested two player and flash modes
  • ran through sound test
So far, no issues to report.

Could it be you tested the MSU-MD version?
I believe I have not made an MD+ version yet.

I somehow assembled a Columns MD+ version a couple of days ago, using the files linked in the development forum. It starts up with the MD+ intro and all. Side note, I am still diagnosing my hardware with the help of a couple of guys on the T.O. Discord. I should know within the hour if it is my hardware.

Little update. I seem to have FINALLY fixed the stutter I was experiencing on ALL enhanced audio games. Turns out it was a combination of my settings on my Mega SG console, and my SD card. I should be able to give you accurate results going forward.

Okay, I see how the process works now. Wait for you to post the new game individually under "Development" and assemble the files from those links. Sorry for jumping the gun. My testing rig is functioning properly thanks to several very smart people on the T.O. Discord. Some of them have hinted to me that maybe the Analogue Mega SG is not quite authentic enough for testing, but others seem to think it's okay. I am debating purchasing original hardware.. Do you have thoughts on this? Thanks.

Actually, the zeldix forums is for discussion and announcements until a patch is considered ready - then it moves to their database and will disappear from here. The development patch-files for testing will be hosted here on github.

Original hardware (bonus points for crt) would be my first choice, second would be MiSTer and third would be emulation.

Okay, thank you for clarifying the process. Now I get it. In terms of the analogue fpga systems, are they coming in last place, even below software emulation?

I dunno. I have zero experience with the device. I was referring to my own opinion.
