Search Projects and Publications by an agent ORCiD

This issue related to redesigning the projects and publications search page: #3736

Be able to search by agent ORCiDs for both projects and publications.
Because an Agents ORCiD is already in the agent table, allow users to search by that in the Agent Search box.
Other ideas about improving Agents and as they relate to Projects and Publications are welcome here!

Although could you also search in the General Search part as that would also include Projects?

I wonder if we made ORCiD an aka - would it work? And it did! put my ORCiD in 0000-0002-1970-7044 for either an agent search or publication/project agent and BOOM, there I am!

I really think that ORCiD should be an agent name instead of an address, for the functionality that offers.

Addresses DO things that names don't, ORCID is an address. I don't think this is in any way subjective.

Also making bits of the address into a name does not seem problematic to me, that could even be automated.

Why not have Orcid be both a name and an address - from the user interface perspective. Allow it to be added in either place and automatically get transferred to the alternate. That way someone could add the number itself to the aka - and/or the url to the address, and Arctos, and if it is only added in one format/place Arctos could automate populating the other field with the info provided?
