Description

Description of the Issue

On iOS, the audio from TeamTalk is completely muted whenever I play any video or audio file from an external application. This behavior makes it impossible to multitask while using the app. For example:

  • When I play a video or audio file from Safari, YouTube, or the Music app, the TeamTalk audio is interrupted.
  • Recording voice messages on apps like WhatsApp or Telegram also results in the TeamTalk audio being muted.

This makes it difficult to use TeamTalk in situations where external audio or multitasking is necessary.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open TeamTalk on an iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 18.1.1 and join a channel.
  2. Play a video or audio file from any external app (e.g., Safari, YouTube, or Music app).
  3. Notice that the audio from TeamTalk is muted as soon as the external media starts playing.

Expected Behavior

TeamTalk audio should continue playing alongside external media, allowing multitasking.

Actual Behavior

The audio from TeamTalk is completely muted when external media is played.
