Connection delay

If you've just added friends, it can take a few minutes before you'll be able to connect to them. This is because both users involved need to add one another before a connection can succeed.

For community servers with default settings, online friends will update every 10 minutes. For manually exchanged keys or Google Talk notifications, manual approval is required. For more information on exchanging keys, check out: managing friends.
