How is important information regaring OLS communicated?
For important notifications of what is happening with OLS we primarily use the ols-announce@ebi.ac.uk email list and Twitter(@EBIOLS). These are also the channels we use to communicate when OLS is experiencing an unexpected outage. You are therefore strongly encourage to subscribe to either or both of these.
For our longer term plans we use this Github Wiki to communicate our roadmap.
How to subscribe to the ols-announce@ebi.ac.uk list
To subscribe to the list, sent an email to ols-announce-join@ebi.ac.uk. The subject and body of this email is ignored and can thus be left empty. On sending this email, you will receive and email from ols-announce-request@ebi.ac.uk requesting you to confirm your subscription. Once confirmed, you will be subscribed to the ols-announce@ebi.ac.uk list.
How to unsubscribe from the ols-announce@ebi.ac.uk list
Sent an email to ols-announce-leave@ebi.ac.uk to leave the list. Again, the subject and body of this email will be ignored.
