- Update our dependencies and switch to using a Gradle version catalog
- Migrate to Gradle Script Kotlin from Groovy
- Migrate away from JCenter to MavenCentral for dependencies
- Convert the project layout to a Kotlin Multiplatform project, with only a JVM target. This will enable further future multiplatform changes with less churn
Also update the build scripts to resolve warnings
