Details

Adds caching of CocoaPods to testBuild.yml and platformDeploy.yml Github Action workflows to speed up iOS builds:

• uses actions/cache@v3 action under the hood
• ensures Podfile.lock and Manifest.lock are the same and otherwise runs pod install to prevent the Sandbox is not in sync with Podfile.lock error

Adds check to veryfiyPodfile.sh script to ensure that a developer has used the same version of CocoaPods as in Gemfile to install Pods.

Tests

Cocopods caching
Tested by manually dispatching the testBuild.yml workflow. I've commented the parts of the workflow not relevant to the purpose of the test (including decrypting resources and installing the MapBox:

• The workflow is run for the first time. Installation of Pods takes 7m 22s
• The workflow is run for the second time. Installation of Pods takes 1m 34s. In this run you can observe that even when Podfile.lock and Manifest.lock were different, this did not lead to an error Sandbox is not in sync with Podfile.lock.

Updates to veryfiyPodfile.sh
Run veryfiyPodfile.yml workflow with two scenarios:

• success with CocoaPods versions matching
• fail with with CocoaPods versions mismatch

  • All JSX used for rendering exists in the render method
  • The component has the minimum amount of code necessary for its purpose, and it is broken down into smaller components in order to separate concerns and functions
