For all JabRef-5.x versions, when I start the application it displays the
entry details for the first document in the database rather than displaying
only the database entries. Is there a way for me to turn this off?

As user, when starting JabRef, I want to get an overview on all my references. All entries are equally important at first. Thus, when starting JabRef, the entry editor should not be opened.

We accept that the rendered view of the selected entry won't shown any more.
