Pre-releaseNotice
Pre-releases are experimental versions that often contain unpatched bugs, work-in-progress features and rewritten implementations. If you don't consider yourself advanced user, please download latest stable release instead. Pre-release versions are dedicated to users who know how to report bugs, deal with issues and give feedback - no technical support will be given. Check out ASF release cycle if you'd like to learn more.
Changelog
Changes since V6.0.5.2:
- Added
OnlinePreferences
bot config property, which right now allows you to enable Steam Deck presence (@JustArchi #3261). UserInterfaceMode
bot config property got refactored and received some new properties, the existing configs are entirely compatible with it, but the underlying enum has changed (@JustArchi).- Core internal ASF mechanisms related with our SteamKit2 library were heavily improved/refactored for new functionalities or enhancements. It should be especially visible for people running higher amount of bots, as the resources utilization should drop significantly in those cases (@JustArchi).
- Latest ASF-ui with new features, improvements and bugfixes (@MrBurrBurr).
- Updated localization provided by our community (@JustArchi-ArchiBot).
- Usual amount of other core improvements, optimizations and bugfixes (@JustArchi).
Changes for plugin creators:
- ASF uses resx source generator now. This shouldn't make any real difference to plugins, but in unlikely case if you depend on ASF localization strings and/or previously ignored globally CA1863 warning, then you might need some adjustments (@JustArchi #3264).
- Functions related to trade offers -
SendTradeOffer()
as well asSendInventory()
now support custom trade message. If you use those then recompilation may be needed, even if you don't plan to use new functionality. (@JustArchi @dm1tz #3262).
Support
ASF is available for free, this release was made possible thanks to the people that decided to support the project. If you're grateful for what we're doing, please consider a donation. Developing ASF requires massive amount of time and knowledge, especially when it comes to Steam (and its problems). Even $1 is highly appreciated and shows that you care. Thank you!
