Created issue from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44100259

We should be able to deny the broadcast receiver permission ("receive data from internet")

---Copy of the post---

If i'm not mistaken it is linked to com.google.android.c2dm.intent.RECEIVE and com.google.android.c2dm.intent.REGISTRATION, with theses, apps can make a receiver used to "push" data from somewhere to your device (best example are games pushing ads on the notification area while the game was not launched by you at any time). Apps using this request the android permission "receive data from internet".

com.google.android.c2dm.intent.RECEIVE/REGISTRATION will be part of the system category in the next release.
