Place steps here that were used to get a good calibration. Will be used as basis for future calibration procedure within GroundControl

SAFETY FIRST.

Do NOT adjust machine in any manner while router is plugged in. Do NOT rely on any automation in place of simple common sense.

Pre-Calibration:

Frame:

  1. Ensure top beam is rigid.
  2. Ensure top beam and workpiece are level.
  3. Ensure Chain guide is in place.

Z-axis:

  1. Ensure Z-axis slop is removed.
  2. Ensure Z-axis down-pressure. (Bungie/Rubberbands)
  3. Prevent Z-axis Slider flex. (washer/retainer)
  4. Tighten Ridgid Screw-Retainer. (plastic cylinder)

Sled:

  1. Ensure [Chain Parallel-ism].
  2. Ensure [Linkage Kit Clearance].
  3. Ensure [Sled Balance].

Linkage Kits:

  1. [Ring Linkage Kit]
  • [Original MaslowCNC Kit] (depreciated)
  1. [45deg Pantograph Kit]
  2. [Vertical Pantograph Kit]
