MegaMek Version: MekHQ v0.49.12 Development Snapshot
Operating System: Mac
Java Version: 19.0.2

Description

Page 60 of Interstellar Operations: Alternate Eras says the following:

The Nova CEWS can only be mounted on units with a fusion engine (including standard, compact, light, XL, and XXL engines).

MegaMekLab doesn't seem aware of this, and will allow you to use the Nova alongside ICEs and other engines so long as you supply enough heat sinks.
