mac build failure around DVTPlugInLoading

I'm trying to outfit a macbook air for development while I travel next week, but I can't get the moddable SDK to build. Have you seen anything like this?

I did every combination of Software Update and xcode-select --install that I could think of.

looks like that's what happens when one only installs the cli tools from xcode. Starting up xcode (the GUI stuff) caused other components to get installed. It's working now.
