When you have two licenses stored in HKLM and HKCU where one might be expired, ServiceInsight reports you don't have a valid license to run the application. This may also happen because of the way license is installed into the register as license imported via ServiceInsight is stored in a different location than the license imported via ServiceControl Management Utility.
Who's affected
Everyone migrating from a Trial License and if you use ServiceControl Management Utility to import the license.
The workaround was to create a License registry key, with a proper license under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ParticularSoftware
