As Paycoin and more importantly https://paycoin.com is aimed at an international audience as well as a very widespread audience with different concerns I think we preemptively installed tracking/analytics software without firstly considering:

  • A formal privacy policy.
  • A cookie disclaimer needs to be shown to visitors as per the EU cookie law.
  • Visitors that have Do Not Track enabled are not tracked with Google Analytics.

I'm happy to work on all points but I just want to raise my concerns here for further feedback.

EU made a mistake, let's not make the same mistake.
Honoring DNT is good, on paycoin.com. Google Analytics not respecting it is their own business.
Privacy policy would be good thing.
