Qubes OS release

4.2.3

Brief summary

When used with the webcam on a laptop with a built-in webcam and an USB webcam, qubes-video-companion always expose the built-in webcam.

Steps to reproduce

  • install qubes-video-companion
  • connect an usb webcam
  • run qubes-video-companion webcam in a qube

Expected behavior

  • I get a GUI to choose which webcam should be exposed

or

  • I can configure which webcam to use

Actual behavior

  • Builtin webcam is always used
