How to create a file format with empty null_if ?

For the file_format resource, I don't seem to be able to produce a terraform declaration that results in CREATE FILE FORMAT ... NULL_IF=().

If I set null_if = [] then it simply omits the NULL_IF, defaulting to [\\N].

Year old question but I had the same issue so answering if anyone else comes across this

NULL_IF=() can be achieved by:

null_if = [""]

Hey, I think in the current version of file_format resource it's not possible. That's more of a Terraform issue that empty values (empty list in this case) are not treated as set values, so empty list is treated the same way as not specified (removed from the config). Currently, we are working on preparing resources for v1. We have some conventions figured out to count zero values as set (reference), but you still have to wait when we'll take care of file format. It's in the remaining GA objects and we still have to finish essential ones. I don't think there's a better workaround other than using unsafe execute resource.
