How to update form validators e.g onSubmit

Is there a way to update the validators like below? The typings hints that this should be possible, but the actual validation schema is not being used. I'm using zod if that makes a difference.

  form.update({
    validators: {
      onSubmit: z.object({ aProp: z.boolean() }),
    },
