It would be great, if the Selection-View could be set to show the "local" address inside the view (starting at 0) as an alternative to the original address from the file.
A workaround would be to set a negative base address (so that my relevant section starts at zero, the file's part before would have negative addresses. But the base address can only be set to positive values.
How will this feature be useful to you and others?
I'm analyzing some Files containing different sections. For one of those sections, I have a given structure containing the position and the length of each value. The position ist given as (decimal) value relative to the sections's start. (So for example, if the section starts at 42 and the value starts at 21, I need the value at 42+21=63.) Having the "relative address" for that section would be very handy to be much quicker at analyzing those files and not for each and every value ave to add the sections offset.
Anyone analyzing sections inside a file will have a similar issue.

I can provide a PoC for this feature or am willing to work on it myself and submit a PR

Thank you!
