Subject of the issue/enhancement/features

There are some capitalization/ grammar issues on the "Get started" page that can be fixed.

Steps to reproduce

Open up this URL to get to the "Get started" page: https://www.adaptlearning.org/index.php/get-started/

Actual/ Expected behaviour

  • "Get started" should be capitalized as "Get Started"
  • "elearning" should be spelled "e-learning" (to be consistent with the spelling across the website)
  • "My courses need to be available to any device" should be "My courses need to be available on any device"
  • "Adapt authoring tool" should be capitalized as "Adapt Authoring Tool"
  • "I need to keep within the budget" would be better phrased as "I need to keep within my budget" or "I need to keep within a budget"
  • "I need to build responsive, HTML5 elearning" would be better phrased as "I need to build responsive, HTML5 e-learning courses"
  • "I love free, open source code" is missing a hyphen and should be "I love free, open-source code"

Hi @henrietta-k,

Thank you for taking the time to flag these text issues on the Adapt website.

I have good news and bad news. Bad news first; making even simple text changes like these to the Adapt website is less straightforward than you might imagine; for this reason content hasn't been updated or maintained for some months (years).

The good news is that Can Studios are currently leading a project to create a replacement website. We're in the process of reviewing a beta version at the moment and are hopefully not too far from a full launch. The new website will of course be fully maintainable and so all comments and corrections will be gratefully received and swiftly acted upon.
