As noted in NOAA-GFDL/MOM6-examples#238, some tar files of input data have disappeared from ftp://ftp.gfdl.noaa.gov/pub/aja/datasets/ but the gitlab pipeline was passing.

The log files for the gitlab pipeline do show messages from wget for failed downloads but nevertheless the scripts continued and did not cause an fail code.
