Hi, In AWS documentation now states:
source: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/greengrass/v2/developerguide/run-lambda-functions.html But in https://github.com/aws/aws-iot-device-sdk-js-v2/tree/main, says:
So will aws-iot-device-sdk-js-v2 work with node 18? |

considering that node 14 has already reached its end of life and AWS won't patch node 14 runtime with security patches and other updates from 27/11/2023, we should be targeting node 16 instead of node 14 for this update. |

This thread is intended to serve as a discussion point for a pending update to the Node baseline for both the AWS JS CRT and the AWS v2 IoT SDK for Javascript.
Currently the CRT's minimum supported version of Node is 10.16. After this update, the minimum supported version will move to 14.x. This update will trigger the following changes:
No API changes will be made as part of this update.
We are currently planning for this change to be a minor version bump. We do not yet have a concrete timeline for when the update will take place, but anticipate waiting at least several months for feedback before doing so.
