I'm not Bluebox, but have some patience, it'll get updated when it gets updated. Clearly, something broke the auto-builder. Google appears to be in the process of removing code for El Capitan and Sierra, so it's going to be messy for a while. |

Don't be so modest, with the rate Apple is sunsetting older versions of MacOS, Chromium Legacy will become a BIG DEAL in the near future (most computers are Chrome machines, whether you like it or not, the internet is used 80% of the time on ANY computer, the internet IS the computer nowadays), you should definitely accept as much financial help as you can get, you WILL need it. Some more tips, get as many people onboard to write code for Chromium Legacy, this project is wayyyyyy too big for one person. (Google must have an army of programmers working on Chrome, how can you possibly keep up with them if you don't have the people?) Also, think about renaming the browser, "Chromium Legacy" is a bad name, other browser names are "Chrome", "Edge", "Firefox", "Brave", "Opera", etc. And you got your browser named "Chromium Legacy", you have to do better than that to compete, brainstorm a better name or leave it open to suggestions, you have to do something about this. |

I hesitate slightly to reopen this old thread but I'd just like to politely enquire whether chromium-legacy continues to be developed. There doesn't appear to have been any new releases since Feb (Canary 123.0.6303.0 [1260910]), and although I may have misunderstood how frequently builds were being released I might have expected further builds based on Canary. |

Looking at an earlier reply from @blueboxd above (and the chromium-legacy home page) it does appear that an auto-builder was running to release frequent Canary based builds, but that was at some significant expense in terms of computing & power costs; those costs are probably not covered by sponsorship, perhaps that cost has become intolerable. I guess we'll have to wait to see, and hope that further occasionally builds will be released. I'd be happy to sponsor if development/builds will continue to be released, which was essentially the driver behind my enquiry. |

Fyi recent merge an hour ago. It is probably better to avoid holding any expectation of fixed update cycle, since I believe blueboxd is kind enough to do this in his spare time. |
