Description

If you use two windows simultaneously, the browser slows down considerably

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a first window on Facebook for example.
  2. Open a second window on Youtube for example.

Actual result:

Scrolling and navigation becomes very slow or even impractical

Expected result:

@RmX382 What distro are you using? Can you try disabling hardware acceleration brave://settings/system and see if that effects things?

I am on Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS. I have tried your solution and it works.

I'm also having a similar issue where touchpad scrolling becomes unstable with a second window open. Disabling hardware acceleration also resolved the issue for me.

The scrolling only happens once the mouse is moved after scrolling. eg: scroll, nothing happens, then move mouse and the windows jumps to where it should've scrolled to.

OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS / Gnome 42.9
Brave Version 1.65.114, Chromium: 124.0.6367.60
