Due to an issue in the documentation for GitVersion:

GitTools/GitVersion#584

The was a slight misconfiguration issue within the GitVersionRunner. There is no command line paramater for /updateassemblyinfofilename, instead, the filename is passed along with the /updateassemblyinfo parameter.
