Deadline is tentative. This milestone outlines a functional first release of Calypso. This means a semi-stable lexer-parser interface, optimization passes, and VM. This does not necessarily include all language constructs being totally defined or implemented, just enough to make some basic programs.

Note that subcrates of Calypso (calypso_* e.g. calypso_parsing) may be released before this without waiting for all of the blockers.

Any issue or PR under this milestone marked as blocking (S-blocking) will block this release, meaning that it cannot be released (without administrator approval) without this issue or PR.
