Cannot "make" CDO #20

Think I am pretty current, get this:

make
chpl -o ./bin/query_builder_ex ./examples/query_builder_ex.chpl  -M ./src -I/usr/include/postgresql/
./src/Cdo.chpl:1128: In function 'this':
./src/Cdo.chpl:1128: error: control reaches end of function that returns a value
make: *** [query_builder_ex] Error 1

I took at look at this and I'm out of my depth. The function in question is

    proc this(i:int):string{
        try{
            if(this.op=="where"){
                return this.where_data[i];
            }else{
                return this.data[i];
            }
        }catch{
            writeln("Error Statement Data");
        }
    }

Which does not conclude with a return statement.
