Please add Ghostscript (Install) 10.01.0 and Ghostscript 10.01.0 to the list. I do not know if this is the same issue but they are failing automatic verification with the new versions. |

Due to changes upstream on the website, to make continued checks as easy as possible this commit changes to explicitly only track releases made on GitHub for version 3 of the software. ref chocolatey-community#2187

This commit updates the automatic update to fix the URL used when parsing the URL to use for the embedded archive, as well as the version. Additionally, it changes the release notes to be automatically updated so we won't have to update it multiple places in the future when it is needed. ref #2187

…rsion number This commit updates the automatic updater to treat any trailing character as its own number to be appended to the last version part, this allows us to create a new package version even when the software developer has created a new version without using a pure version number. ref chocolatey-community#2187

Expected Behavior
All packages are expected to be able to automatically update, and once they are pushed to Chocolatey Community Repository they are expected to successfully pass all of the automated checks.
Current Behavior
At the time of writing we have multiple packages that are failing our automatic updater, as well as there are multiple packages that are failing Chocolatey Community Repository automatic checks (validator, verifier and package scanner).
Possible Solution
That is not known at this time, we need to look at trying to fix all failing packages. If they can not be fixed we may need to look at removing these packages.

This issue is meant to track failing packages, both if they are failing our automated updater, and if one of the automated checks is failing.
