I came here to see if this is possible and I would like to add onto this request that it would be nice if I could control the volume with the scroll wheel only when right click is held, and that it would also prevent the window from scrolling in that instance.

Enhancer for youtube has this feature but I am transitioning to this extension because Enhancer has started giving me issues and I found this extension and appreciate its open source nature.

EDIT: It wasn't working for me at first cuz I had to restart firefox for it to apply for some reason but this extension does allow you to set the volume control shortcuts to the mouse wheel, it doesn't accept mouse 2 as a valid key for the aforementioned combo though.

• its fine & easy to add/implement, so maybe we will do so in predefined ways.. - More specifically you might want to join BUG: scroll shortcuts in firefox & FEATURE REQUEST: 1. Shortcut requirement hover player optional (or other elements) 2. predefined scroll for volume option 3. multiple shortcuts for one action #862

• we can/should pick up & keep up developement of Shortcuts in our Lib after we lost the author: https://github.com/code-for-charity/SATUS . Also start a new paradigm Plans for our Shortcuts.js (deserves adoptive developers) (could be used globally eventually) #1565

  • can accept mouse click shortcuts in future while hovering the shorcut creation area :D

• moreover :D mouseover (hover) any elemenet like <video> could be a condition for any (custom-)shortcuts in any extension! tweaks for videos/youtube (be it media or every day GUI )
