Hi guys, we are doing neurosciene experiment using the OpenEphys GUI to connect to the Neuropixels 2.0 via the PXI-1083 but gets an error saying we cannot connect to the basestation on the GUI. We tried to install the National Instrument PXI-1083 driver but it gets installed upon USB plugin to the Windows 11 computer. But we cannot change the driver and everytime we delete we plug the device in and computer automatically reinstalls, preventing us from following the steps for finding the device as unknown, which allows us to install the Encrusta driver. We tried many things, like disabling automatic download of drivers in windows settinsg, preventing driver download in policy and registry editor, and safe mode force uninstall NI drivers. But nothing works. We notice there is a NI package manager and software installed and wonder if this is the cause of the automatic download. At thsi moment we are out of solutions and would appreciate any thoughts.
