possibility for scheduled emails?

I need an email notification plugin, which sends reminder emails triggered by javascript depending on some date calculated by an algorithm, which reads dates from a struct table. Is there something like this?
Otherwise, I am hoping to utilize this plugin. I wonder if there is any possibility to pre-schedule the email send event, according to a given date.
