Thanks for the great tool, its one of the first things tools I get upon a fresh new Linux install,
However Im currently working on corporate laptop with Windows 10 installed, Im using Linux Subsytem (WSL) and running Ubuntu 16.04, Im accessing this via terminator running on an windows X server (I dont mention these things as I think they are part of the problem, just to give more info)
when I am in my bash shell, I access and see hstr displayed as usual by ctrl+r, however when highlighting the correct row and then pressing , or , I am taken back to my shell PS1 with just "hstr --" displayed, an empty line, and then back to my original PS1, eg:
my_ps1_here: ~ $ hstr --
my_ps1_here: ~ $
nothing was copied from hstr to my prompt. Any suggestions?
heres a snip of the appropriate part of my bashrc
automake is already the newest version (1:1.15-4ubuntu1).
gcc is already the newest version (4:5.3.1-1ubuntu1).
libncursesw5-dev is already the newest version (6.0+20160213-1ubuntu1).
libreadline-dev is already the newest version (6.3-8ubuntu2).
make is already the newest version (4.1-6).
many thanks
