I apologize for posting a question here. I realize this is for issues, not questions, but there isn't really a place to post questions in github expect here.

My question is, I'm using the ARM templates to provision clusters in Azure. We recently fulled up the data partitions on our data nodes but didn't realize it until they were full. We'd love to catch that before they get to that point. What monitoring tools would you suggest we use to avoid this in the future. It would be great if it plugged into the Azure dashboards and could send email alert notifications when certain thresholds have been exceeded. Thanks in advance for the info!

@lmemmott This question may be better asked on the forums at https://discuss.elastic.co/c/elasticsearch since many more people view them, including those out in the field who help users and customers configure this type of alerting.

It's possible to configure a watch to alert (via e-mail, slack, pagerduty, + others) when a disk threshold is exceeded. Check out the Alerting sample watch examples.
