Problem Statement

We have delivered numerous enhancements as part of Observability of Alerting efforts and support isn't aware of nor benefiting from these.

We should ensure support is aware and leveraging the Observability of Alerting efforts that we have made in the 7.14 release. This will help them and us resolve SDHs faster and easier.

Some ideas to choose from:

  • Ensure the existing support tooling leverages these new enhancements
  • Support article
  • Docs
  • Make support's tool support the event log
  • Synchronize support's tool with our docs to align the queries, etc. (provide same value)
  • Others?..

Socialized the changes with Camilo via Google Doc and opened a few docs issues based on feedback (#107888 and #107889). Closing this issue for now but can reopen if anything else comes up related to this.
