Kibana version: 5.3.0 Hash e5a8c674
Elasticsearch version: 5.3.0 Hash e5a8c674
Server OS version: ubuntu-14.04-x86_64
Browser version: Chrome
Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): BC8 build
Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior: The count of the visualization doesn't decrement, although I delete many visualizations .

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Initially I load up many visualizations (~100)
  2. Delete 20 of them by selecting all of them
  3. The count should also increase or decrease depending on action. This is not happening and it keeps showing 1-20 of 100 as a static text.

Issue seems to occur when you have more than 100 visualizations saved (which is the equivalent of 3 beats, so it can happen easily). The visualization page will only show the first 100 out of them. The same is happening for the Saved Objects page.

I've identified the source of this bug. For some reason, when we request visualizations from the server, the server will limit the number of results to 100. It seems like these results are also sorted by date-created. This creates a really poor user experience both because of this bug and also because recently created visualizations are completed inaccessible once you have more than 100 saved.

I'll follow up with Management and Platform to see if we can get any insight into a solution.
