Kibana version: master

Describe the bug: When brushing an xy chart with a number histogram on the x axis, it's not filtering down the data

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Lens
  2. Drop number field on x axis
  3. Drop records on y axis
  4. Select section by brushing on the chart
  5. Nothing happens

Expected behavior:

Filter is added for the selected range

No errors on console

I remember testing bar click. Not sure about brushing.

Now it's a good time to refactor that part as well, as elastic/elastic-charts#822 got into charts.
