In the tests, there is a comment:
"# FIXME: These tests are broken, and Peter promised to fix it at some point."

As mentioned here: #475 (comment) only two of them may be failing currently. They are currently being skipped in the test suite. We should either fix those which are broken, or delete the tests entirely.
