Do you want to request a feature or report a bug?
feature

What is the current behavior?
A lot of people submitting questions as Issues. It is hard to search for current bugs

What is the expected behavior?
Enable the Discussion panel to clean up the Issues list and allow people to chat about draft.js

That's a very good request.

I tried for half an hour and failed to get invitation link to the slack channel too. And there's seems to be no other discussion forum.

What is the best place to have general discussions on draft-js and related things?

slack would be your best bet. Both draft-js and draft-js-plugin community share a workspace. Besides that it's really quiet. I hope the discussion tab would attract more people or at least provide a better overview of current state of the project. I feel a lot of people are reserved because of the selection issues

But how do i get into their slack channel? I need an invite and all the invites i could find are expired.

Ah, thanks. I was thinking about puppeteer and made comments on draft-js repo 🤦 I am on the draft-js. And i think it was you who helped with the collaborative editing thing.

Huh, I had no idea the Discussions feature existed. I'll investigate a bit.

The slack isn't very active anymore— it's a lot of overhead. Something right within Github for sure would be preferable.

Thx. so much! I think it is in beta. Next.js has it enabled. Here is the link if you would like to try it out: https://github.com/vercel/next.js/discussions

Huh, I can't figure out how to enable it. Either the beta is not available for this repo right now, or I need privileges I don't have, since the repo lives under the Facebook org. In any case, I'll ask around. Let me know if any of you have any clues though 👍

+1 to having a Discussions feature for Draft.js

According to GitHub's blog, GitHub discussions is currently in beta with a few open source communities. I guess they will make it available in beta for others soon.

Remirror has it enabled and is way younger than draft.js with less stars. I guess you have to write GitHub

I'll try to remember to email/tweet at them/something on Monday. I'd guess people don't check those inboxes during the weekend.
