Why does Flameshot take a general screenshot of the screen before letting me select the screenshot area?
For example, this is what happens when I select "Take Screenshot":
It takes a screenshot of the entire screen, then saves that screenshot in the Pictures folder, and displays this window, and displays a message that is not true, because after I click Share, the screenshot creation window that should have appeared in the beginning appears.

Well, in short, because you chose to use Gnome Wayland. It would have probably saved a lot of your time if you would have searched among open and closed issues or search in our documentation:
