This is the practical application of the relicensing agreed to in #16.
Note that this PR also removes the notice from the MIT license file. This has no effect on copyright ownership, but it does have an effect on what needs to be copied around. This removal matches what the Rust team has done themselves, i.e. rust-lang/rust#43498.
If you want to keep the notice, we can also work with that, so let me know and I'll change the PR.
