Plugin needed for BLOCK-SELECT mode

even the venerable terminal allows for block-select. It's usually a CTRL-key modifier to the mouse-select. GMate/GEdit is an otherwise superb gui editor but for this glaring omission. Until this is redressed, I shall be dreaming with Geany
