Despite the option Hide placeholders of blocked elements being set, the blocked elements still show placeholders (this seems to be since the WebExtension version that I can observe)
Firefox 56.0 (64-bit)
uB0 1.14.11rc9
Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) 1703
Create the rule such as file-scheme * 3p block (to test with a local file) for example: <img src="https://www.google.com/images/branding/googlelogo/1x/googlelogo_color_272x92dp.png"/>
The blocked elements still have their placeholders (these were hidden/collapsed in the past)
I was hoping it was something that had crept in and would resolve itself but since it has not and we are on the RC9 already, which I expect will go release soon, wanted to bring it up so it can be addressed before that happens. TIA.
