Would be great to quickly check if all targets can be "scraped" or whatever the equivalent here is.

Loki doesn't know this - only promtail does. Promtail could send this into to Loki OTOH. @woodsaj WDYT?

does #532 fix it ? should be easy to build an api from this.

Promtail could push a set of informations to Loki x sec, then Loki would store that in memory for an x sec, we can then build on this ? WDYT @tomwilkie @davkal

Should be pretty simple to implement as we already have the data available in promtail.
