Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'useTheme')

Describe the bug

I randomly get this crash, reading useTheme from an undefined htEditor.
I'm using my own theme called "ht-theme-mytheme".
It happens when I run the hot.updateSettings function and it has happened for different settings, so I don't think it has anything to do with what is actually provided with updateSettings.

I'm as always unable to reproduce it in a consistent manner so I can't say when it happens...
Just want to put this here and hopefully someone else can join in on the discussion.

I have never had this problem before the new version (15.0.0) where theming is supported.

I was also having this issue. I can replicate this issue where a cell has a cell type of 'dropdown' was being saved in the cellSettings.

Steps to replicate:
Scenario 1:

1. Click "Update cell type to dropdown at A1"
2. The A1 (row: 0, col:0) has been updated to a cell type of dropdown, don't click the A1 cell yet
3. Use right click to the A1 cell, and click "Rerender" option and the runtime error will show

Scenario 2:

1. Click "Update cell type to dropdown at A1"
2. The A1 (row: 0, col:0) has been updated to a cell type of dropdown
3. Click A1 cell, and click "Rerender" button beside the Render count

If the A1 (dropdown cell type) cell has been opened at least once like the Option 1 and Option 2 are showing, the error will not occur using the steps above.

Hello, this is also affecting us. We are using Angular 18 and it seems to happen on @input value change.

We were able to replicate the issue and will update this thread and forum as soon as the issue is solved.

Could you test the new build? I used the demo from the forum since it was fully replicable for me, and the issue no longer occurs in the latest build 0.0.0-next-c0094c2-20250130.

I believe that this PR #11253 might have been the one to fix it.

We're finishing the tests and should be moving to the code freeze this week or next week. After that, we usually spend a couple of days on the final build test and release a version.

I will update this thread as soon as the new version is released.

I have implemented the fixed version but haven't used my application enough to be sure the issue is gone. But still, I haven't seen the issue yet which is promising!

I am getting a similar issue, but it happens when I click the row number... afterwards I am unable to update the hotSettings with the same error as the issue
