When I launch

jupyter lab doodler.ipynb

On Chrome, I am greeted with the following message

Token authentication is enabled
If no password has been configured, you need to open the server with its login token in the URL, or paste it above. This requirement will be lifted if you enable a password.

When I follow the instructions to get my token, I get an 'invalid credentials' error (not sure why)

Is there a specific reason for password protection?

Works on Microsoft Edge browser

Hmm I'm also not seeing this message on Firefox.
