Max Prefixes - Required by backend but not in frontend

When adding a customer or a port, if one leaves out max prefixes, the frontend throws an error, and from reading the backend it suggests that its required from a database perspective.

Please can we make it consistent, so that the frontend knows its a required field.

It also affects the new port wizzard.
