My question at yesodweb/wai#931 (comment) was likely posted in the wrong place and is better raised here.

If the repository for package cryptonite-conduit is forked here, I'll raise a pull request to help complete its transition from cryptonite to crypton.

The motivation for my request is that the Pantry project depends on cryptonite-conduit, and the Stack project depends on pantry and on http-download (which, in turn, depends on cryptonite-conduit). My end objective is to move Stack/Pantry from cryptonite onto crypton.

I recently had the same requirement and had a local fork working with crypton. I have pushed it to github here now: https://github.com/psibi/crypton-conduit

@psibi If you have motivation, you are the right person to upload crypton-conduit to Hackage.

Thanks, I have uploaded it to Hackage: https://hackage.haskell.org/package/crypton-conduit

If either one of you want hackage/github access - please let me know and I would give the relevant access. Probably longer term it would be good to consolidate all the crypton repository together (something similar to haskell-crypto organization).

@psibi, thanks. I've raised commercialhaskell/http-download#5 so the http-download package can rely on crypton-conduit.

I am happy to share the burden of looking after crypton-conduit, if you want to add me to the repository and as a Hackage co-maintainer.

@mpilgrem Added you on both hackage as well as to github. Thanks!
