Map Legend custom component

I could replace the default layer control with a custom built legend component. Then I could add the colors to the legend / layer control. (may have to be more normal with the colors but can also compute which colors are in each set).

Another thing that could be cool is to add the date range slider filter to the map page as well. It could go at the bottom of the legend component.
